Personal Background

Nate’s passion for the outdoors is the basis of his charter fishing business, U.P. Pro Charters. His commitment to excellence has transformed dreams into a successful business and professional angling career.

Nate became a certified U.S. Coast Guard charter captain at the early age of 18. He then began his chartering business on the waters of Upper Michigan, specifically, the Bays De Noc. After nine years, he continues to run a very successful and popular charter service with clientele throughout the U.S. In addition, Nate has been a top salesmen for one of the country’s largest boat suppliers. He sold over one million dollars in boats in just a few months of 2004, over two million dollars in 2005, and another million dollars in 2007. His persistence, knowledge, and personality are the keys to this success.

For four years, Nate earned rights to the famed Professional Walleye Trail Championship where he was the youngest participant during those years of the competition. He has also qualified seven times for the FLW WalMart Walleye Tour Championships. His effort and high tournament finishes have not gone unnoticed. Nate has always had a high level of media attention and exposure in national fishing magazines, newspapers, television news programs, and television outdoor shows. Nate is proud to be featured on the cover of the 2008 FLW Walleye Tour brochures which are nationally distributed.
